We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or other requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Invoice Mama and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

This limitation of liability section applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, even if Invoice Mama has been advised of the possibility of such damage. The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction.
Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This agreement gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or jurisdiction to jurisdiction. The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under this agreement will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Force Majeure: Invoice Mama shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond Invoice Mama's reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation, acts of God, terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, or government restrictions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for any changes.
Changes to this privacy policy are effective when they are posted on this page. The date the privacy policy was last revised is identified at the bottom of the page. If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
Your continued use of our service after we post any modifications to the privacy policy will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified privacy policy.
International Transfers
Our services are intended for global use. Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
If you are located outside Canada and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including personal data, to Canada (where our company is based) and process it there, as well as in other countries where our service providers may be located. Your consent to this privacy policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or regions with similar data protection laws: We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable laws.
Invoice Mama will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and no transfer of your personal data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
Dispute Resolution
If you have any concern or dispute about our privacy policy, you agree to first try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us. If these efforts prove unsuccessful, you agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to this privacy policy shall be settled by binding arbitration, rather than in court.
The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the arbitration laws of Ontario, Canada. Any judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. By agreeing to this privacy policy, you and Invoice Mama waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action lawsuit.
You remain free to bring your dispute in your local small claims court, if permitted by that small claims court's rules.
For users in regions with mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived, the dispute resolution provisions above may not apply to you to the extent they conflict with your local laws.
Governing Law
This privacy policy and your use of the website and service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule, regardless of your location.
Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of, or related to, this privacy policy or the website shall be instituted exclusively in the courts of Canada or the courts of the Province of Ontario. You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.
If you are accessing our services from regions where other laws may apply, please note that by using our services, you are agreeing to these terms and to the jurisdiction of Canadian courts. However, this will not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence, where such protections cannot be derogated from by agreement under applicable law.
Severability
If any provision of this privacy policy is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
This privacy policy constitutes the entire agreement between us regarding our service and supersedes and replaces any prior agreements we might have had between us regarding the service.
